Prof. Duncan Gregory heads the Inorganic Solid State and Materials Chemistry lab at University of Glasgow. He is currently the Westchem Inorganic Chair. He has headed several top posts with various journals and advisory boards of elite panels such as RSC, EPSRC etc.

Joseph's concerns the investigation into ammonia-based thermal energy storage through the adsorption and desorption of ammonia gas onto transition metal salts and composite materials, storing waste and solar thermal energy to be utilised when there is higher demand for heating in domestic and industrial applications.
