Dr. Siobhan's research was on nanostructured silicon as a high-capacity anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs)
Jana, Arpita
2020
Dr Jana's research focussed on the synthesis of graphene-encapsulated oxide semiconductor nanoparticles for various energy harvesting applications. Her work involved fabrication of p-n junction diodes and gas-sensors fabricated from oxide semiconductor-graphene hybrids.
Sen, Sudeshna
2020
Dr Sen's research included the design and development of ionic and mixed ion-electronic conductors, new classes of fast solid state ion conductors, optimum tuning of crystal structures for favourable ion transport and the development of laboratory-scale solid state and lithium polymer batteries.
